Here is an update:
I have spent the past few months preparing myself in every way possible for the up coming season. Countless hours have been spent in the gym pushing my physical limits and I even have had the chance to spend a few days skiing on the slopes of Mt. Hood, Oregon, USA. I am ready and can't wait for the challenges this season is going to bring me.
Chile is normally the place to be for some pre-season training but due to the lack of snow they had this year the mountains shut down early. So plans to travel to Europe have been made instead. I leave September 29th and return a month later. Stelvio Glacier (Italy) is our first stop for seven days of high altitude training. SuperG, GS and SL there, then to Pitztal Galcier (AUS) for another week, Hintertux Glacier (AUS) and finally to Solden (AUS) to watch the World Cup race before we head home. I cant wait to tell you all about it!
Here are some pictures of a summer well spent.
